Home of Stephens & Sons Beef, LLC. We are family-owned and dedicated to providing high-quality, locally-raised, natural beef to our community. Our commitment to safe and sustainable practices and animal welfare ensures that every cut of meat we offer meets the highest standards.

Our Story

The bell in the photo belonged to Shanda's Great-Great Grandfather who moved his family to NW Arkansas from Ohio in the late 1800's, The bell hung on the wooden yoke between a team of oxen that pulled the wagon and were suited for travel and labor in the rough terrain of the Ozark Mountains. Many years later, it was used by Shanda's Grandfather and Father during the open range days of Oklahoma. Both Philip and Shanda's families have been involved in farming and ranching as far back as their genealogy can be traced. Most of the time it was sustenance farming which they relied on to feed and raise large families.  We can confidently say that our sons are at least 6th generation cattlemen.  We have always been passionate about the farming and ranching lifestyle. What started as a small sustenance operation has grown into a hyper-local, trusted source for premium beef, while maintaining our core values of faith, quality, integrity, and community.

    • Since before they were married in 1995, Philip and Shanda have raised commercial cattle. Their two sons, Logan and Chase continue to have active roles in the daily operation.
  • Locally raised, grass-fed cattle
    • Our birth-to-butcher beef has been conceived, born and raised by us up to 24-30 months of age. The slower growth of grass fed beef has better flavor and nutritional value. 
  • Sustainable farming practices
    • Rotational grazing, cover crops and water conservation are some of the strategies we practice.
  • Direct from farm to table
    • Our cattle have only been cared for by our family, processed at a trusted Oklahoma family owned USDA Inspected facility. and then delivered to OUR CUSTOMERS BY US (your local farmer and rancher that you know by name!). 
  • Commitment to quality and freshness
    • Our beef is vacuumed sealed and frozen at the peak of freshness. You do not have to worry about how long a package of meat has been in the supermarket or who has handled it.
